Hello,
I just buy two Polycom HDX 7000 and a VBP 4555 for my company 🙂
I have a Juniper firewall, how should I do to connect them ?
Must I set a public IP (with NAT) and a private IP on the VPB and put it on a DMZ ?
Should I put the two HDX 7000 on the DMZ too ? or let them on the LAN ?
Sorry for my bad english 😞
I hope you will understand what i mean and answer 🙂
Bye

You have some options on how to deploy the VBP. You can put the WAN inteface on your DMZ and Nat the IP address, this is the hardest since you have to configure the ports for your firewall. The second is to get a public IP address and use this on the WAN interface. Then you would 2 public Ip addresses, one for the Juniper firewall and another for the VBP.
The LAN interface would connect to your internal LAN network. Your HDXs would be configured for your LAN network as well. I would turn on embedded gatekeeper on the VBP and have the HDX register to this VBP LAN IP address. You will also need to make sure the route to the Internet is through the VBP and not through the Juniper firewall. You can create a separate VLAN or put the gateway IP address as the VBP LAN IP address on the HDXs.
Good luck...
