I am trying to register MEA to WSP on measys user for licensing. It’s not getting registered , am following the same path to register MEA to WSP tried re deploying several times , seems that MEA is not at all talking to WSP , is there any specific service we need to see for this. Which is the port on which MEA talks to WSP? Below is what I follow for the same.

  1. Deploy WSP
  2. Configure Network Settings
  3. Configure DNS ( made sure WSP and MEA are able to ping each other on FQDN using root user)
  4. Configured server settings in WSP

  1. Deploy MEA
  2. Configure Network Settings
  3. Configure DNS ( made sure WSP and MEA are able to ping each other on FQDN using root user)
  4. Checked “ENABLE” box in conference settings , provided MEA FQDN
  5. Provided password “measys” in License page
  6. Apply
  7. Reboot MEA
  8. Reboot WSP

Did I miss any?

I have done several implementations of Cloud Axis , this is first time i am stuck at this stage.

Thanks in Advance

Since you have done some CA installs before you probably have checked this but did you apply certificates for MEA/WSP ?   I believe they are required to make it "talk"...

Good luck,

Thank you for reply Gary.

Infact what i feel is MEA registration with WSP is something which has to happen before certificate instalation.

WSP can work with out installing a certificate , it creates it own self signed certifiate

MEA needs certificate for user sign in

Still i tried by creating a self signed certificate for MEA and installing it. But no help. My doubt is with time server .

If you find the below logs , it seems like it shows NTP communication timed out , not sure.

This has been resolved .

It seems downloaded files were corrupted, downloaded both files again and issue resolved.

Thank you for the reply.
