DEAR ALL,

I recently installed two DMA 7000 and both are on same LAN. Whenever i boot both of them one starts working fine and i can ping. But the other DMA 7000 doesnt responds to ping commands. Everytime i have to connect the keyboard and VGA monitor and press F1. On the VGA monitor it shows press F1.

Please help in understanding the issue.

Thanks in advance!~!!!!!!

Shailesh,

If you install both DMAs at the same time, this won't work because they will both have the same default IP address. You need to tuen one of them on - then configure it. Once this DMA has been configured, then you can turn on the other DMA.

I just reread your post. If you are getting the F1 prompt after every boot and this last for 3 days, then you may have an issue. The array controller battery may be depleted which will need about 3 days to recover. If the issue happens after this time period, then you have a real issue.

Dear All,

The issue stand resolve now. Issue was with BIOS setting of DMA 7000.
