Polycom Outlook Add-in not active

I have installed the Polycom Conferencing Add-in for Outlook but it will not load.  I have found one KB article on the Polycom support site about deleting a folder in c:\users\(user)\appdata\local\microsoft... \polycom_conferencin_for_path_ 

 

However, the polycom_confercing_for_path...  is not there.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Denlarose,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Usually the Polycom® Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft® Outlook (at present version 1.4) would come with the release notes and the System Administrator Guide for the Polycom® Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Outlook if correctly supplied.

 

Can you confirm that Polycom professional services and/or your Polycom reseller have supplied you with the above and what Version of the Plugin you are running / trying to install?

Hi Steffen and thanks for your quick reply.

 

The version we are using is 1.0.9 Build 1 (PolycomConferencing_1.0.9_Build1_NET4-0_en.msi).  Unfortunately, I do not have any release notes or administrator guide.

Hello Denys,

 

if you have received this version from the correct source (i.e. a Polycom reseller/partner and/or Polycom professional services) you should have received the relevant documentation.

 

Based on the version information I am not sure if this is the case and I would suggest you follow this up with above listed partners and you will receive the latest supported Version 1.4 if you are entitled.
