I'm trying to activate Platform Director installation. I need to be able to do this offline. I have logged in to the Polycom Licensing Center and created a server following the instructions in the admin guide (v1.7). It is now at the point where licenses have been generated, but I can't find any way of accessing/downloading the license.

If anyone has some useful info on this process I would be pleased to hear it.

Got there. Had to use Firefox instead of IE9.

It would also have been helpful if the doco had the name of the link correct - Download Capability Response. I had already tried this but only in IE until now. And why "Capability Response"? Why not License / Activation? Terms that we have been using for years.

Moony,

You have to generate the file in the new Polycom Licensing Center portal. Once the file has been generated, then you upload the file to the PD server.

I wish I had more...

Thanks for responding. I wish you had more too.

A license has been generated, but I don't know how to download it so that I can do offline activation. I also don't know what file type the Platform Director wants the activation key in.

There is a dearth of information about this process. I am feeling quite frustrated with this. It used to be a relatively simple procedure to activate a product - it still is for some - but the RP virtual stuff...
