Hi,

Is there a way to send a URL to CMAD and/or MS Lync users when scheduling through CMA outlook plugin, so the users will just clink on the recieved URL and the CMAD/ Lync will make the call?

Regards,

Ahmad

Ahmad,

Yes - The “callto: handler” is used to launch the desktop video client based on the preferences set in the OS of the PC.

For example,

CMAD:Join the meeting using Polycom CMA Desktop

MOC:Join the meeting using Microsoft Communicator or Lync

The above would look like this in html code:

CMAD: <a href="callto:714477">Join the meeting using Polycom CMA Desktop</a>

MOC: <a href="SIP:714477@example.com">Join the meeting using MOC or Lync</a>

BTW - The PCO solution which uses the Microsoft Outlook scheduling client does this automatically.
