VBP' H.323 activity logs shows Registration Reject(CMAD),see attachment. Event/Time Source Destination Registration Reject "5459105" - 218.76.154.45:1719 Aug 09 10:28:35 Authority: Local Reason: "e_duplicateAlias" why CMA Reject Registration?I check the user of CAM and EP's E164,Alias,i sure no duplicate !

By the way,Can we change the CMAD's E164 ?thanks!!!!!

I get the same error.  Even when I 'start from scratch' by removing the client, it hangs.  Sometimes it works.  There seems to be a timeout - anyone got any detail?

you seem to be able to change the alias if you, in my case, configure a local user and enter the phone number, however....

 

Sep 14 11:16:02 2012 ldn2vbp2 mand: H.323 REG src="200123" srcip=82.69.100.170:1719 auth=1 r="e_duplicateAlias"

 

Then I get duplicate alias for my brand new alias!!!

Hello all,

 

have a look in your CMA logs within the EXXX_LOG1.txt file for something like:

 

 ERROR Severity: ERROR; Message: Duplicate endpoint; ErrorCode: 2000

 or

 ERROR Severity: ERROR; Message: Duplicate device.; ErrorCode: 1100

 

If above is true please open a service ticket via Polycom Support

I am also getting the similar error : registration reject " 56274350" 115.248.193.68:1719 authority: gatekeeper  reason: "e_duplicateAlias".

remove the user on CMA and then add it back on CMA with define another alies for same user which is not geeting register from wan side and then cheack.i hope you will get it done. Regards Yash Pal

I tried to do this but problem is I didn't find any endpoint registered with that ip or alias or name in CMA. On the remote endpoint the message was showing that " the call is routed through intermediate network which doesn't support..." .  But firewall is showing that "e_duplicateAlias" message. Remote endpoint is HDX 7000.

The problem was got resolved by resetting the configuration of the hdx system. They were able to do VC for some days after that, but now again the same issue is facing.
