We have recently deployed an RealPresneceOne Solution and have all the components running as expected. However we have encountered an issue only with Lync 2013 clients, where when dialling to the DMA VMR, video is not accepted and then the call disconnects. The front-end server that we have the SIP peer to is a Lync 2013 server, but when we test the same scenarion but with a Lync 2010 client it connects seamlessly and CSS content share works perfectly. Encryption is set on the conference profile "as needed" and we have tested the template as AVC only, Mixed mode and still it produces the same results.

Does anyone have any ideas?

They would be most welcomed.

Many thanks

Gekko -

I have seen this issue when the RMX network IP service did not have Microsoft selected as the SIP server in the drop down. In Lync 2010 - we have H263/RTV/MS SVC. In Lync 2013, we have RTV/MS SVC. Since we don't yet support MS SVC natively, we fall back to RTV. In the case of Lync 2010, we can use H263 if RTV is not available. With Lync 2013, RTV is our only solution. The only way the RMX is going to use RTV is if the SIP setting is set to Microsoft.

Simons,

Can we use RTV codec in collobration with MS Lync 2013 without upload RTV key?
