Dear Polycom Team,

We face an issue that Polycom CMA 4000 have System Alert "the certificate CMA self-signed certificate will expire February 2019", Please find the attached file that indicates the system alert.

How can I fix the issue "the certificate CMA self-signed certificate will expire February 2019"?

Is there any effect on videoconference calling when Polycom CMA 4000 Certificate expired?

Regards

Hello,

I am facing the same issue,CMA4000 handling VSX endpoints.

I have read this article

https://community.polycom.com/t5/Bridging-Collaboration/the-certificate-cma-self-signed-certificate-...

but it is about RPRM.

So,will CMA keep working after February?

How can we generate a new certicate?

Regards,

Hello @sotiris ,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

  • End of sale for the CMA Solution was 31/12/2009
  • End of Service was 31/12/2010
  • End of Support was 01/07/2015

If you still use this old product I would suggest you look into upgrading this to something like RPRM

Hello all,

just to follow this up:

  • For customers using CMA self-sign certificate but managing video endpoints only, users just need to delete the CMA certificate and generate a new RPRM self-sign certificate.

  • For customers using CMA self-sign certificate and managing VVX 1500 audio endpoints, users only have only one options before the certificate expires

Customers should install a Public CA signed certificate on CMA

Hello Steffen,

Thanks for your reply.

For customers using CMA with a self-sign certificate, managing video endpoints only, not planning using/upgrading to RPRM and are not planning installing a public CA, are there any consequences?

Thank you in advance.

Hello @sotiris ,

A self signed certificate should be fine.
