Hello Sachin,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The question is if you want to use the Polycom Trio with the Visual+ using a single cable to the Trio and then from the Trio to the Visual+ or not?

If you have both on separate cables they will work with PoE.

If you want them on a single cable the Switch needs to support PoE+ or use the Power Injector that you can purchase with the Trio.

Hello Sachin,

If this switch supports PoE you can use the Trio 8800 as a standalone device.

If you want to utilize the Trio and the Visual+ on the same cable you need a switch that supports PoE+ or an external power supply.

Any PoE switch will work and operate a standalone Polycom Trio 8800. Only if you add an addition Polycom Visual+ unit and want this powered via the Polycom Trio 8800 then you will need a PoE+ switch.
