The active speaker and panoramic view effects are not present on CX5100/CX5500 when a call is initiated via Microsoft Teams.

Please, when will the aforementioned effects take place on the Unified Conference Station.

Hello @Yinye ,

welcome back to the Poly Community.

I can only provide a similar answer as I already provided, for example, => here <= in regards of Poly devices and compatibility with Microsoft Teams.

The CX5100 Product was working with all previous iterations of the Operating System we declare in our data sheet. It also works fine with previous LYNC or Skype for Business software clients.

The only thing that has changed in this setup is that customers are now forced to Team's and our partner Microsoft has decided to somehow be no longer backwards compatible with a product they originally developed.

Stating the above I recently had this feedback internally so I can only ask you to contact Microsoft directly:

  • So for existing USB devices Microsoft is adding them to their Teams whitelist as and when they’re ready to support them. Given the panoramic video support is due soon I would expect this device to work correctly when this is launched.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
