We're using EVGA zero clients. After installing the Polycom BToE Connector software (2.3.0) and rebooting, the phone is still not detected on the machine. The software version for the phone is 5.2.0.8330. I opened up a ticket with Teradici (awaiting a response) to see if this may be an issue on their end or if Polycom simply doesn't support pairing with zero clients when using BToE.

Anyone run into the same issue with zero clients?

Thanks.

Hello sa,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The BToE app is only working with a physical PC connected to the PC port on a Phone and running the Release notes listed Operating systems.

It does not support any VM machines.

I know this is an old thread but you said " is only working" has there been in progress to make it work with Zero clients? Our company is starting to deploy the VVX 410 models and having the same issue where the phone wont pair when the VMs are logged into.

thanks,

Rick

Hello Rick,

Supported Features are usually listed in the release notes and I cannot comment on future releases as this would require a NDA / non-disclosure agreement.

If you want more details on future builds please work with your Polycom reseller and/or provide me with details via community mail so I can get you in touch with a Polycom sales engineer.

Please also provide me with a MAC address of one of your phones.

I too am very interested in the ability to use BToE with our VMware virtual desktops via zero clients.  Anyone know if BToE has been made available to virtual desktop users yet.  I have not been able to find anyting on this.

Note: We happen to be using 10Zig Teradici based zero clients.  There is a unified communications setting on theTeradici web interface of our zero cleints that I have enabled.  It is my understanding that almost all zero clients (Wyse, HP, 10Zig...) are Teradici based so virtually the same concerning how they would interface with Polycom.

Hello Jeff,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

There is nothing around about BToE and Thin Clients as we still do not support it.

The same question / information I asked the original poster is still applicable.
