Hello @andrew_mc , @Scratchy  and all,

As previously stated within the community the CCX 400 was developed by a different team so it did initially not have the known UC Software running.

If the CCX is still on Software 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 download the latest USB UC Software 6.2.2.0185 software for CCX 400 from >here<

  • Go to Previous Releases
  • Download Poly CCX 400 1.0.X to Poly UCS 6.2.22.0185 USB Upgrade (Teams)
  • Rename the CCX400-1.0.X_to_PolyUCS6.2.22.0185-USB-Upgrade.zip into fv_update.zip
  • Copy the file to a FAT32 formatted USB stick and place it into a CCX 400 running and follow the on-screen prompts

A video can be found >here< showing the above

Further below are instructions that can be followed to configure the CCX 400 in one go.

With the 6.2.22.0185 ( and previous 6.2.21) we added this to the phone to provide additional features it.

These are:

  • Poly Audio / Acoustic Fence / Noise Block AI
  • DHCP Option 161/66
  • Poly Provisioning (RPRM, PDMS-E/SP)
  • VLAN Discovery – LLDP/CDP/DVD
  • Full UCS 802.1x
  • Web Proxy
  • Web Admin Interface
  • Skype Base Profile

The previous software 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 did not support any of the above and therefore, once upgraded to 6.2.22.0185 a user will need to manually confirm:

  • New Password per California SB-327 law
  • End-User License Agreement
  • Timezone
  • Language

We are aware that this may cause additional manual action and users faced by this have 2 options:

  • Use a USB stick and download the attached and unzip the files 000000000000.cfg and Teams.cfg and copy these to the USB stick

The Teams.cfg file can be amended to change the password to anything else from the pre-set 789
Plug the USB Stick into the Device and then upgrade via TAC.

    or

  • Setup a provisioning server using DHCP option 161 (FTP, HTTP or tftp) as described >here< and host the above-mentioned files.
This will, in addition, also enable the Web Interface and various other settings helping to troubleshoot the phone if required.

We are looking into why the phone would switch to the Skype for Business base profile instead of staying at Microsoft Teams.

Best regards

Steffen Baier
