We just purchased 150 CCX 400 phones and want to deploy them with Teams Phone System.  They appear to work well.  However, out of the box, they come with LLDP/CDP turned OFF. So, to get them to pickup the Voice VLAN, we would have to login to each phone to turn them on.  Is this a bug?  I saw documentation stating that they come with LLDP turned on.  Is there a workaround?

Thanks

Hello ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The CCX 400, unlike the other CCX phones, was developed by a different team and therefore some of the settings may differ. I am pretty sure you can enable this setting without the need having to sign into Teams but I am nowhere near a CCX 400 at present.

The next software 6.2.21, which is planned for late August/early September, should address this.

For now, you will have to manually enable this via the UI on each phone.

Will this also fix the CCX400 issue of the PC being on the same VLAN as the phone or will it perform as per other models where PC is on untagged VLAN and Phone on Tagged VLAN ?

Hello @bknox ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Once the CCX 400 is running software 6.2.x.xxxx it should behave like any other poly Phone. If you still find issues please raise this via your reseller.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

I have just received a CCX 400 phone and was trying to connect it to our network so the Voice goes over the Voice VLAN and the attached PC goes over the Access VLAN and just saw this entry in the KB. Do we have to be running at a specific ver to make this happen.

In the phone I see multiple versions that we are at but not the 6.5 that was mentioned.

thanks,
