CX3000 Initial setup fails

Hi. Trying to setup a new CX3000 using Lync and the USB cable. The Lync account works, both for user logon and Lync logon so the credentials should be OK.

The phone boots, the Lync account is logged into (both the PC user and the Lync client on the PC), USB cable is attached, PC asks to reenter PW, phone then proceeds to connect NTP srver, then contacts Lync server and fails to download the certificate. We have existing phones (within the last couple of months) that have configured OK.

How do I see the phone logs when it has not completed its setup?

Thanks

Re: CX3000 Initial setup fails

Hello Brettmat,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I have corrected the Subject and the actual post to reflect the actual devices name as CX3000.

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Please try here

Best Regards
