CX5500 Touchscreen Issue

Can somebody help us? Our Polycom CX5500 enter automatically numbers and dial something?

Look like a ghost inside! ;-) Had somebody the same issue?

I already update the firmware, but not helps!

It's configured as SIP Client and also connected over USB to a PC for use Lync...

What type of lightening are you using in this room and have you tested the unit with the lights off?

Das Problem ist nur, dass unser Problem nicht immer auftretet.

Wir haben normale Lampen mit Neonröhren, sonst muss ich mal das Licht ausschalten, wenn das Problem wieder aufretet.

 

Haben Sie sonst noch Tips, was es sein könnte?

Same issue here. I have 6 units with non-working LCD screens. Most of them just have "no touch" and couple of them have "touch itself" issues. Just like you said "ghost inside". In reality this is just a pure technical issue with those screens that were designed that way. I think the issue was resolved in later models. But what to do if you have older model?

 

I think Polycom should issue recall on those units with LCD screen issue. This is not a single incident but massive issue. It would be nice to get this issue fixed too!
