On CX600 on a Canadian site, when the enduser did the external transferring, they have to dial 1 before the local area code; otherwise the transferring is unsuccessful.
They don't need to add 1 before the local area code when calling these numbers directly. When they are doing the external transferring without dialing 1, there is no busy tone or hear anything. The display on the phone is showing: The transferring is unsuccessful.

They can transfer calls using Skype client without any issues.

Any ideas what could be the source of this problem ?

Hello Ashis,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Polycom is unable to add any new features into the functionality of these CX Devices

Please try here

Best Regards
