Currently have CX600 and CX500 working with Skype for Business 2015 but have heard this won't be supported after 18th April 2018? I am not able to find anything to support this or if indeed these are still currently supported today. These are quite old phones so it doesn't surprise me, but I could do with fining the details.

Does anyone have any information of this ?

Thanks

Richard

Hello @Richard Pennington,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Details on this Microsoft TLS change can be found => here <= or => here <=

Only the Tanjay/Aries families of CX phones based on Lync Phone Edition will be impacted (CX500,600,700,300). These run Windows CE which will not be updated by Microsoft to support TLS 1.2

Thanks for the quick reply and usefull info.

It's only office365 based skype4b where this is enforced. Your on-premises install won't change.

What about intergration with other O365 services? Like O365 Exchange for voice mail/calendar and O365 AD for LDAP services.
