I notice that the D60 supporting documentation is listed under UC Software 5.4.5 - does this mean the D60 is now supported on UC software 5.4.5 (Skype)?

Also could you confirm what verisons UC software of Microsoft Certified? The download page doesn't make it obvious.

Thanks!

Hello Robin_Honeywell,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The release notes would advertise the compatibility status of a new software and products.

In addition if a software comes with a .CAB file it is Microsoft certified.

I cannot comment any further due NDA restrictions.

Thanks Steffen,

Not sure what is NDA about the question but re-reading the download page 5.4.5 is available in CAB files but 5.5.0 is not, so 5.4.5 is the latest certied release and according the release notes the D60 is supported. So both questions are answered! Thank you.

Hello

NDA is a non disclosure agreement so we cannot talk in public about future versions.

The D60 does not work using Lync / Skype for Business.

5.5.0 is not supported on Lync / Skype for Business

Anybody hear about any update on VVX D60 and Lync/SfB Compatibility?

I bouight a VVX D60 to use with my new VVX  601 phone and Skype for Business Online (SfB) and apparently the VVX D60 is not compatible with SfB. This is unbelieveable!

Given all the Polycom hype around VVX line being the ideal for SfB Online, I really feel duped by Polycom into buying this phone...which is now basically worthless to me.

And to make matter worse, apparently this issue has been outsanding for months and months, and when asked the simple question: "When will the VVX D60 support Lync/SfB?", Polycom reps on this  support website  can only stonewall and say, "Due NDA regulations we are unable to discuss any future features or releases"

All this all does is make me want to take my business to another phone vendor.  😞

Hello gplank,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Whilst we usually do not specifically list what compatibility the VVX or the D60 has not got we should maybe make it clearer that it does not work with Skype for Business. We do currently only mention SIP when looking at the D60 online.

I contact the product management team on this but in regards of NDA / Non disclosure agreement being in place is a US law and we are a US Company so unfortunately we cannot work around this.

Best Regards
