Hi,

UC version 5.4.0

My customer required to have an emergency number displayed in the VVX phone .

As per the Polycom admin guide I have enabled the authorized number and given the details as Emergency number.

This configuration only shows the emergency  number when the phone is in

lock mode. When the phone is in lock mode two button will be showed as Unlock and Call. When pressing any button or call button the emergency number will be displayed.

Since the emergency number is not displays in unlocked mode, I have added a softkey named Emergency and in action parameter I have added a macro to call to the emergency number.

Now, the customer required Emergency button in the locked mode instead of Call button or the Emergency softkey I have created in homescreen should also appears in locked mode.

Please suggest a solution or any other workaround fro this scenario.

Hello Adarsh P S,

Currently there is no state off softkey.x.use.X for Lock usage.

You would need to request this via a feature request.

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

As a workaround simply use a background screen to display such information permanently.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
