Enabling Mitel Contacts Search

Our Polycom is running firmware version and it is a trio 8800. We have line 1 configured for Skype for Business and line 2 configured to connect to our Mitel phone system.

We trying to search the Mitel directory on the phone, but the directory only displays SfB contacts rather than the Mitel directory. Is there a way to get it to use the Mitel directory? Or perhaps remove the directory function?

I am unsure if Mitel supports LDAP and the Admin Guide / Skype for Business Guide can be used for your other questions.


The next step would be to open a ticket as explaining all this via the medium of a community forum is complex and time intensive.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
