Utilizing a Polycom EagleEye IV USB camera with a Polycom Trio requires a certain software level.

Sep 14, 2018 Question: Can the Polycom Trio upgrade the software for any attached Camera?

Resolution: From Trio Software 5.7.1 onwards the Trio can update the EagleEye™ IV USB  if this runs at least Software 1.2.0

In order to check the currently installed software please navigate to:

  • Settings => Status => Diagnostics => Networked Devices => Debug Info => Next

This should be at least 1.1.0-X and the latest can usually be found => here <=.

UPDATE 06/08/2018: Software 1.2.0 was released.

UPDATE 02/02/2019: Software 1.2.1 was released.
