Hello,
We are seeing a specific use case that is causing problems for our users. When a user creates a Skype meeting and does not invite the GS\Trio Room at the time, there is no way to add the room at a later point without the organizer going back and recreating the meeting. This is a problem because often times a user in another geographical location creates a meeting and invites a user in another site, but is not aware of what conference rooms are where. So the invited user forwards a meeting to the room. The room accepts the invite and it shows up on the both the display and the touch screen. However, when the meeting has been forwarded to the room, there is no option to "join" the meeting. It brings up an error that the meeting number isn't found, and wants a number to be manually entered. We have attempted to add the conference ID number via this function, but it tries to dial the number and fails.
Is this expected behavior? Is there a way to work around this troublesome issue?

Staffan,
I am pleased to report that we fixed this issue on our own.
We found that the TNEF encoding attached to a standard Skype meeting was being lost when it was forwarded. We were able to adjust our Exchange transport settings to preserve the TNEF encoding, even when the message was forwarded or sent to an external recipient, and at that point the JOIN button began showing up on forwarded meetings.
Hello James,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
Does this happen on both units and are these internal or external invites?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Staffan,
I'm sorry, I meant to include that this is being seen in version Release - 6.1.1-370109
The issue occurs with both internal and external senders. I did search the forums earlier and found that there could be a TNEF issue when coming from external to internal, but this happens when both users are internal as well.
and the Trio ?
5.4.4.7609
Unfortunately on latest firmware, issue persists :(
Hello James,
I will try and reproduce this but in order to support you correctly please open a support ticket as we may need accounts of you etc.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Hello James,
Any chance you can post the changes you made or what Microsoft articles helped you int this so others can try the same?
