Hey all!

 

Ive imported contact cards in Outlook and got them synced with skype. Most of these cards contain a full name, company, email adress and work phone.

After imported in Skype, skype automatically takes IM as email address. When I put these contacts as favorites and I see them on my polycom screen; it shows them by mail address (example; he would show Brad Davis with email address company@mail.com as company on my screen).

This is a real problem since a lot of people get clumped up when they are apart as the same info@company.com or it shows in my polycom screen as just info.

Since a lot of companies use this info tag, I have no clue what person I am calling.

 

Anyone got an idea how to resolve this?

Hello Pinowww,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

we would need some test accounts to reproduce this.

 

Please work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your phone's MAC address so I can look up who would be able to support you.

Basically we had an issue like this in the past and we fixed this.

 

If this re-occurred we need to fix this.

We have updated the software version to the newest version (we have premium support through polycom), but this problem still exists.
