Running a VVX 600 phone (5.4.0.10182) on Skype for Business Cloud PBX.  I can't seem to get incoming caller ID working.  Incoming calls just show the number, but don't translate the name.  I confirm that I have them in my contacts, that the phone can search for them in the GAL.  In Skype for Business on the PC, I can right click on the person and choose "Call", then see all their numbers (Mobile, Work, etc). However, if they call I don't get Caller ID.

The only Caller ID I get is when someone makes a Skype call to the phone - but PSTN doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone else been able to get Caller ID working?

Hello JimSillasen,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 07, 2015 Question:Does a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base profile support Reverse Name Lookup (RNL)?

Resolution: The Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base, unlike the optimized for LYNC CX Phones, currently do not support this feature

If you look at:

Jan 6, 2012 Question: How can I create a local directory or what is the 000000000000-directory.xml used for?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

You need to add the contact locally on the phone in order to display the name instead of the number.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
