Hi,
We are in the process of deploying some brand new Polycom VVX 501s. A large lot of these phones were ordered and we deployed them at other sites without issues. Engineer in the field reported that with this batch of phones he is unable to sign into the phones with an Extension and Pin?
MAC: 64:16:7F:02:CB:C0
UCS Firmware: 5.4.5.6770
I was able to sign into the device remotely via the webpage and it looks like the PIN Auth section is greyed out. We are using the same phones and configuration at all of our locations.
Any idea of why we are all of a sudden seeing this change in behavior?
Thanks
-Matt

Hello medlhuber,
I can only assume that you are aware that a working Option 43 is required for Pin & Extension so the above FAQ has a section for this.
I may edit the FAQ to make 100% sure that everybody gets this.
If this still fails open a support ticket.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your phone's MAC address so I can look up who would be able to support you.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
