Hi,

We've recently upgraded from SfB to Teams and need to get our three 8800 in a position where we can also use on Teams.

I've upgraded the firmware to version 7.1.1.0731 and selected Teams as the base profile, we get the Teams window on powering the device but when you press sign in it comes up with a certificate error regarding Intune.

I can't see how I can enroll the device, I've put the serial of the device into the Corporate device identifiers within Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

I found the below Microsoft Graph Explorer command but this didn't help either.

PATCH https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/deviceManagement/

{"settings":{"ignoreDevicesForUnsupportedSettingsEnabled":"true"}}

Is there something I'm missing?

Hello @Col ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

A couple of things:

  • Only UC Software 5.9.5 is officially Microsoft certified so the Trio should only be running UC Software 5.9.5
  • Microsoft no longer support the Trio 8800 running Teams as outlined >here<
  • From a Software perspective Poly no longer supports Microsoft Teams as outlined above as well
  • There are certain Intunes rules as outlined in our FAQ:

    Jan 3, 2020 Question: Is there a way to modify Intunes Policy Exclusion for Teams Android Devices to cater to older Android versions?

    Resolution: Please check => here <=

  • A colleague of mine also outlines how to check this >here<

Even if you manage to log into Microsoft Teams with the Trio 8800 our Partner Microsoft has an open issue with the older APK running on the Trio's that cause the devices to sign out of Teams after 90 days. This will not be fixed by Microsoft and Poly is unable to add a fix to the Microsoft supplied application.

The easiest way may be working with a Poly reseller as Poly has attractive offers to return the Trio 8800 and purchase a discounted Poly C60 >here<.
