Polycom CX3000 and Modern Authentication

We have a Skype for Business 2016 environment with Polycom VVX 300/400 models and CX3000 conference phones.  We are evaluating UCS 5.5.1 for the VVX phones to support Microsoft's Modern AuthenticationMicrosoft accouncement on Polycom VVX phones and UCS 5.5.1


However I have not been able to find any information on Microsoft or Polycom's site about CX3000 phones supporting Modern Authentication.  Will these phones support this feature and if so, is there a planned software update to enable this?

Hello jplarsonqg,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Polycom is unable to add any new features into the functionality of these CX Devices
