We have setup our Trio 8800 (UC 5.5.2.11338) for SIP without a problem, but I have now been asked to connect it to Skype for Business to get calendar functions on this phone. We have given the room resource a Skype account with a phone system license, opened the specified firewall ports, purchased the required lync license through polycom, and set the base profile to s4b. I can now get to the Skype for Business Sign in page on the web application, but all of the fields on the page are greyed out.

What am I missing in configuration that allows me to edit the Skype for Business login page?

Mark,

Are 'Use User Credentials' set to enable?

In order for it log into SfB, you need to use User Credentials and populate the Sign-In address, User and Password fields.

It wouldn't let me enable... However, after playing around with it, somehow, I'm not sure how, it now allows me to enable that and attempt to sign in. It hangs on signing in for about 5 minutes, but always fails. There are several pages of this error:

1208132858|app1 |*|00|Key bounce detected, 56 skipped, rtosTickGet() = 22793, m_preKeyTicks = 22789

I haven't been able to figure out what is causing that or why it is failing.

I have found that you must have the unit synchronized with a time server.

Are you logging into an on-premise SfB or SfB online?

To help debug the issue, change your logging under settings > logging > module Log level limits > Skype for Business ABS to debug.

You'll be able to follow the login process and see what's happening.

You may want to post the export of the log for us to see.
