Hi,
I got a Polycom Trio 8800 as test device. However I do not yet have a HDMI compatible screen so I used a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. I would now expect that the Trio showed something on the screen. But thats not the case. Did I need to perform some actions on the device in order to show something on the TFT? The small box is paired with the phone and shows a green light.

I see. As this is a test device, we do not have a screen here (we are new with the SfB enabled Polycom devices and need to test them at first).
By the way: After changing the wire to an "HDMI -> DVI" one, the TFT started to work. So at least the adapter with the used TFT wasn´t worinking here.
Hello BastianW,
Polycom has not tested any HDMI to DisplayPort adapters and recommends connecting the Visual+ with an HDMI monitor using the HDMI cable supplied together with the Visual+.
I am sure we are backwards compatible to DVI but the official recommendation is HDMI.
