We are having an issue whereby we cannot sign in to our polycom vvx500 handsets to office 365 cloud pbx users through any other method than web sign-in.
Our accounts are all set up and, when we use the web sign in option (aka.ms/sphone) we can connect. However, we would prefer to use sign in via PC which would allow users to use their skype for business application to sign in to the phones. But when we use these options the phones sit with 'signing in' for several minutes before failing.
We are using firmware 184.108.40.20637 on the phones.
We use skype for business 2015 client from O365
We use BToE passthrough to the phones. Pairing is enabled and dialing works from the skype for business app.
The reason we want to use sign in via PC rather than sign in via web, is that the former is much more simple and quicker to input and we have ~80 phones to deploy in the not too distant future that we would like to simplify.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
