Problem Trio 8880 and Skype APP Mobile

Hi people,

 

I have one customer that use the Polycom Trio 8880 integrated with Skype for Business. The trio works fine, but has one problem we detected with the Skype APP Mobile.

 

When one user call to Skype User loged on Skype APP Mobile (iPHone ou Android), dosen't calling, only for Skype APP Mobile... on PC the call from Trio is OK.

 

Anybody Can help me?

Hello Daniel Rosa,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge we do not support calls to or from a Skype consumer client.

 

The VVX range recently added support for this via the UC Software 5.5.2 release but the Trio still uses 5.4.5 so its not supported.

 

I cannot comment on the availability of a 5.5.x software for the Trio at present.

The Trio are calling the Skype... but the Skype for Business on PC... its OK!

 

But when call to Skype for Business Mobile (iPhone and Andoid) dosen't work... do you understed? The same user with as logged on PC... it log on the APP Mobile.

 

I will send one attachment with the my firmware version... is the last possible...

Hello Daniel Rosa,

what are you using to call to?

 

Skype for Business App on a Mobile device or a PC or a Skype Consumer app on a Mobile device or a PC and what is not working?

 

I suggest you get this into Engineering.


In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
