Re: Real Presence Trio 8800 and Video Conferencing equipment

Hello Fernando,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The RealPresence Trio 8800 registered to a LYNC or Skype for Business server can make and receive calls to and from a Polycom GroupSeries registered to the same.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Re: Real Presence Trio 8800 and Video Conferencing equipment

Hello Steffen,

Thank you for your feedback.

But I would like to know if the connection of the Trio 8800 to Polycom GroupSeries can only be done between devices in the same company network, or is it possible to connect to external clients?

Best regards,

Fernando

Re: Real Presence Trio 8800 and Video Conferencing equipment

Hello Fernando,

The devices allow the same or similar kind of communication which you would expect of a Skype for Business client on a device.

They are able to make and receive calls with federated clients.

Re: Real Presence Trio 8800 and Video Conferencing equipment

Hello Steffen,

Can you tell me what configuration has to be performed on the Real Presence Trio 8800 so that it is possible to make an audio and video connection with a GroupSeries video conferencing device via SIP or IP?

Note: The GroupSeries device does not have the license to connect to Skype for Business.

Regards,
Fernando
