Dear all,

I use Realpresence Trio 8800 software 5.9.0.10869

I try to use the Web UI through mobile phone (Android, Chrome browser). I can login to the web UI using the admin credentials. But the menus are all missing from the page.

Is mobile Chrome not supported to configure Web UI?

Hello @Rpasztor ,

welcome to the Poly Community.

Please do not bump a topic.

If this is causing an issue for you please open a support ticket.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

@SteffenBaierUK

thanks for the comment. I was somehow hoping a relevant answer instead of the generic forum guideline paste 😞

Hello @Rpasztor ,

I have never heard of this so therefore I explained that this needs to come into our service organization.

Your post did not include the minimal required information for others to try and help.

@SteffenBaierUK: well, I think this isnt an issue type that is extremely difficult to reproduce.

I have provided the software version in my opening post as expected (its 5.9.0.10869 for the record)
Then all I need to do, is try to open the Web UI of the Trio in an Android smartphone device:
open Google Chrome on my Android phone, and open http(s)://IP address of Trio
username: admin, password:456
Authentication successful, Trio webpage opens.
But all menus items are missing. Only the main page frame is visible (the skeleton of the site), the text labels for menu items are not visible at all. I switched between desktop mode and mobil mode, no difference.

All I asked, if anybody from the community owns an Android phone, to check the same and confirm if they can see the menu items, or if its invisible also for them.

Hello @Rpasztor ,

I briefly tested this with an Android Asus Zen Tablett running Android 7.0 and Chrome 73.0.3683.90 and found no issues navigating the Web Interface of my Trio (5.9.0.11421)

Thanks for the quick confirmation. I used 2 different smartphones from 2 different vendors, both running Android 9, and recent Google Chrome. These were not tablets though! Both used the same wifi network connection to the Trio.

None of them can render the Web UI correctly.
