Hi team,

I am facing an issue by trying to recording (using the S4B recording feature) the video conference from Trio when logged in a O365 credentials. The other participants audio and video (using Notebooks) can be recorded but the Trio user cannot.

I didnot find any informations about record the Trio video. I just coul find information to record the Trio audio.

Could you help me to know if the Trio video can be recorded using the Skype for Business recording feature?

PS.: I had checked if the recording feature is activated in Office 365 admin center as mention this article. (https:// support.office.com/en-US/Article/Let-people-record-their-audio-and-video-conferences-122cb4...)

Best Regards.

Hello Clio Mello,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

These are two different features.

The Trio, like all VVX phones or SPIP phones with a USB connector, can locally record Audio.

Any LYNC, Skype for Business or O365 features need to be checked with our Partner Microsoft.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen

Thank you for quick feedback.

I will check to our Partner Microsoft as you suggested. But have you ever seen this video recording feature from Trio 8800 trhough Skype for Business Admin Center?

Actually I would like to know if there is a possibility of this video recording...

Thanks again and Best Regards.

Hi Steffen

I appreciate your reply.

I have chat to Microsoft forum and I got this answer below. It is possible that Trio cannot support the video recording feature?

Hello Clio Mello,

we just had a similar case yesterday come into Tier 2 utilizing Skype for Business on Premise where a Trio would stop sending Video if the recording feature is being utilized on the Skype end.

I suggest you open a ticket quoting 1-5337805771 as a reference with a similar issue.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

Polycom Engineering tell me that Trio 8800 is an audio conference device tested and certified for Skype for Business. So video conference is not a feature 100% checked by Microsoft and Polycom. This is the reason some features don't work.

I am trying to this same test but using Group500. If this works i tell you.

Thank you for time and requests.
