Users in my organisation until recently had their Skype meeting  reminders appear on their desk phones (Polycom VVX410)

They could then press a soft key on the phone and they would be joined to the meeting.

That function is no longer present. They do not receive any reminder notifications on their phone. They do still receive the reminder on their computer, and they can click to join using their soft phone (Jabra 9460 headset)

Is there a setting that I am missing that would re-enable these notifications?

The users are using

- Windows 7 64bit

- Skype for Business 2016 16.0.4266.1001

- BToE 3.3.0

- Outlook 2010

Hello FWC-ServiceDesk,

Using a currently supported software version like UC Software 5.6.0 or at least UC Software 5.5.3 is recommended as there have been many fixes within the software especially around meetings.

Please upgrade and then report back.

Hello FWC-ServiceDesk,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Thank you for your response Steffan.

I have engaged our Infrastructure team to see if we can't get the UC software updated.

Hopefully this will resolve the issue and I can update this post.

Cheers

For those that are experiencing similar issues.

Updating the UC software to the latest version 5.6 resolved our issues with Outlook appointments displaying on our VVX410 handsets.
