Hello @ausware ,

From our Skype FAQ:

Nov 6. 2019 Question: Where can I find a BToE to UC Software compatibility matrix?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Also, this table is a bit outdated I do not see an issue as 4.3.0 and 6.2.0 has many new security features.

Hello @ausware ,

Once a Phone is in Skype for Business mode only in very special cases a manual configuration is required. Usually, everything is fully automatic and does not require any manual parameters.

You should just be able to sign in to Skype for Business only using the DNS and other mechanisms.

If you have any follow up questions please await other community volunteer replies. If this fails you always have the option to raise a ticket via your reseller.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Yes, if a user changes their password, they will be signed out of the phone and they will need to sign back in using Web Sign In.

Note that Microsoft has announced that they are launching a SIP gateway to allow legacy desk phones to connect to Teams, replacing the existing the existing Skype for Business gateway. Web Sign In will no longer be required with this new gateway. More info here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2020/08/03/take-communnext-level-microsoft-teams

thanks for that info

i have it working on firmware 5.9.6.2327 and 6.2.0.4023

it seems when i try to do websign in remotely, i have issues (ie from home http to phone, then do the whole aka.ms/sphone pairing.

when the user comes in the office and does it, it seems to be work, is it becuse of BTOE or that has no bearing on it?

HP Recommended

actually i retract that comment

it does work, but it seems just after moving users to teams, i cannot sign in

it feels like its almost 24hours before it works..
