Trio 8800 - (Will not show shared content from S4B)

Hi 

 

We have multiple Trio Real precense 8800, which are having issues with shared content via S4B

 

 

Senario:

 

1.Trio 8800 joins a meeting
2.A S4B user Joins the meeting.

3.Both S4B and Trio 8800 can talk and see each other with Video and Audio

4.S4B Shares Content (E.g. a powerpoint 2016) its shown on the S4B client but not the Trio 8800  (The Video from both Trio 880 and S4B client are still there working)

5.S4B tries to share Desktop, Its not showing up on the Trio 8800 (The Video from both Trio 880 and S4B client are still there working)

 

i have updated the UC version to (5.4.5.9188)

Apr 1, 2016 Question: Can a RealPresence Visual+ / RealPresence Trio 8800 receive PowerPoint Files and/or Whiteboard?

Resolution: This is at present not supported.


We do not currently support PowerPoint or VBSS content Sharing

 

Jun 15, 2016 Question:Unable to receive content from a Skype for Business 2016 client

Resolution:The RealPresence Trio 8800 does currently not support VBSS. please check => here <= as a workaround

Is there an ETA on when these features will be available? I am currently running 5.4.5.9188 and the Share PowerPoint Files… and the Whiteboard features do not work.

The Release Notes would cover such new addition.

 

We do not currently give public timelines on new features.

 

Please work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom sales engineer on this.
