Hello,
we've deployed serveral Polycom Trio 8800. Users seem to like the sign off button. Therefore we like to remove this button.

The Trio 8800 is now on version 5.4.3.2389. Devices are registered at Skype for Business Server 2015 CU3 Enterprise Edition Pool.
I've tried to provision a Trio 8800 via USB stick which worked execpt that the Lync.cfg or settings of it was not applied as intended.

No per-phone deployment. One config for all via 000000000000.cfg.

Unfortunately the following settings of Lync.cfg were not applied and the hideSignOut="1" is not applied.

000000000000.cfg as-is

Any ideas why this setting is not applied? Is this maybe not possible due to SFB?

Helpful answers are appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards
Erik

I've re-read the following posts which helped:

  1. http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/FAQ-What-does-the-message-quot-Missing-files-config-reverted/td...
  2. http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/FAQ-How-can-I-provision-the-RealPresence-Trio-8800-and-or-Visua...

Finally I removed all the stuff I did not need as in 2. described or noticable in the screenshots. So I copied the lync.cfg, renamed it to trio.cfg and wrote trio.cfg in the Config_File in the 00...00.cfg. So the settings were applied. Successfully and the files were found. 🙂

Hello Erik

Only looking at this from my mobile phone but where in the 0000000000.cfg are you telling the trio to load the Lync.cfg ?

I've now added the file here:

<APPLICATION APP_FILE_PATH="sip.ld" DECT_FILE_PATH="3111-17823-001.dect.ld" CONFIG_FILES="config\lync.cfg"

It says some files are missing.

Hello Erik

does the memory stick contain this sub directory ?

Please check your logs as it should tell you what files are missing.
