Hello,

I have a Polycom Trio (5.4.0.12856) connected to a Lync 2013 system. Federation with external parties is working fine.

Now I try to call into an Acano meeting space, and this does not work.

Calling out from the room to the Trio device does not work either (Calling out to other Lync clients in the same Lync system works.)

I do not find any error messages in the SIP trace from the Lync servers, it looks like the Trio just hangs up (BYE) immediately after it gets connected.

Have anyone else seen this working? Any known issues? (I am guessing codecs / order of codes perhaps?)

welcome to the Polycom Community.

You are not using the latest software on your Trio so I can only suggest to upgrade to the currently latest released 5.4.1.17597.

 

If the issue still occurs please work with your Polycom reseller so we can get a ticket raised for you with our support team.

Thanks for notifying me - I am downloading the newer software now, I will test later today and come back tomorrow..

 

However, my questions remains.

 

Have anyone else seen this working (with any version of the software)? Any known issues?

Hello,

 

With version 5.4.1.17597 we get audio working but video is one way only, from Acano to Trio.

This behavoir is seen with two different Trio devices connected to two separate Lync 2013 and Skype4B systems.
Both connecting to the same Acano system.

 

Please let me know if you get it working somehow, I will try to sumit a bug to Polycom about this.

Hello Kressmark,

you will need to work with your Polycom reseller on this as End Customers are unable to open Polycom Service Tickets.

 

If you provide me with the MAC of the Device I can look up who that would be in case you purchased from a discounter.
