Hello.

I have a couple of VVX 410's and an 8800 conference phone that I need to update, but I have lost their admin passwords. How can I regain them or factory reset them? All attempts at searching for the solution on Google have failed because they mention using the MAC Address, which I don't know how to use, or some other 'solution' that doesn't work.

Hi AdamJF,

The MAC address is sixteen characters long and will be printed on a label on the bottom of the device. To use it, simply enter it when prompted for the password when performing the factory reset, as documented here: https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/FAQ-How-can-I-reset-Factory-default-my-Phones-confi...
