VVX 500 with ver 5.5.1 Change Keyboard to the onscreen keyboard the default

Can I change the vvx keyboard during search etc to the abc type with the onscreenkeyboard appearing as default without having to tap on screen ?

 

Using 5.5.1 and cant upgrade to latest at the moment
