Hi,

We have a VVX600 running firmware 5.4.2 connected to Lync 2013.

I enabled 4 line keys (using  reg.1.lineKeys="4") and I would like to have all the line keys moved to the expansion module to make it easier to switch between call whitout using the touch screen.

I tried using the new parameter regOnPhone="1" it works bur only 3 line keys are moved to the Expansion Module, the first line key stays on the touch screen.

Is there any way to have all the line keys on the Expansion Module ?

Regards,

Arnaud

Hello Arnaud,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We only support 1 line registration towards LYNC / Skype for Business so I am unsure why you would want 4 lines.

The Flexible Line key at present will always keep the single line we currently support on the main phone.

You can use any Favorites on the main phone or expansion module.

This is working as designed and any change would require a feature request.

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change to the current Polycom SIP / UCS Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above FAQ post explains this requirement.

Hi Steffen,

I know that only 1 line registration is supported, what I want to achieve is to have 4 physical button for the active calls or lines.

The expansion module have the led on each button which make it easier to see if a call is on hold and to switch between calls.

Is there any way to achieve that ?

Arnaud

Hello Arnaud,

I am unsure if the 4 lines is an supported scenario from our end.

Prior to 5.4.1 Software the lineKey.reassignment.enabled  could be used to move all keys.

This is described => here <=

UC Software 5.4.1 added

<line feature.flexibleLineKey.enable="1" />

The above is LYNC specific and enables any contact to be placed anywhere on the phone where the "older" variant would populate any favorites alphabetically.

You can either downgrade to pre 5.4.1 or if unsuitable work with your Polycom reseller on a feature request.
