Hi,

We're testing a setup with a VVX600 device (firmware 5.4.0.10182 installed) and run into, what seems, a limit with the amount of delegates shown in the display. What happens is as follows:

Users 1 to 16 setup SfB/Lync to simultaneous ring to delegates with 0 seconds delay. They all added User A as a delegate.

Users A's VVX shows Users 1 to 15 in it's display. User 16 is not shown because of the screen's maximum pinned items limit.

When i call User 1 to 15 both User 1 to 15 and User A's phones and SfB client on the computer ring as they should be. When i call User 16, user 16 receives the call but only User A's Sfb/Lync client on the computer receives the incoming call. There's no incoming call on user A's Polycom VVX600.

When i change User 16's simultaneous ring from delegates to teamcall and add User A the VVX receives the incoming call just fine.

I already downgraded the VVX firmware to 5.3.2.0208, but that makes no difference.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Many thanks.

Sebastiaan

Hello Sebastian,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

If a Delegate is not shown on the phone we are unable to present the call. A team call works slightly different so I could only advise you to install an Expansion Module so you have enough space for the delegates.

A future software version will enable you to utilize the Enhanced Feature Keys so you can change to position of delegates to suit the phone layout as current versions do not support this for delegates.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't know how it works technically, but it would be great if this gets fixed in a future update. Because from a users point of view i don't think it should matter whether or not a 'boss' is shown on a delegates phone to receive the incoming call.

Anyway, for now I'll ask those who have this issue to change simring to teamcall. Thanks again.
