Hi everyone,
Does anyone possibly know if it is possible to set up a reccuring restart of a Polycom Trio 8800 device via CFG files published through the provisioning server?
Something like a weekly restart on every sunday night?

It seems that the Trio with recent software updates (5.4.5.9188) is much more stable and has less memory leaks so restarting the devices from time to time is no longer necessary.

Hello hs.milos,
welcome back to the Polycom Community. The answer is not straight forward.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Nov 24, 2014 Question:How can the Phone automatically check / poll for configuration changes or new software versions?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Any changed value in the configuration that requires a reboot would do this.
In addition
Oct 7, 2011 Question: Reboot the Phone remotely or via the Web Interface
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Or utilizing the community search a user posted an example script => here <=
The only question for you would be why you want to do this?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
