Hi,

 

I connected my mobile phone with the Soundstation 2. Microphone and Speaker works fine. But I cannot mute the Soundstation using the "Mute" button. Is it the Soundstation 2 cannot mute directly when connected to mobile phone?

Are you sure this is not a mobile phone issue?

 

I had a colleague test this internally and it works with a current SoundStation 2.

 

What is the serial number for his unit usually found at the bottom of it.

Hello Steffen,

 

I am having the same issue with the mute not working on brand new SS2 when connected to my iPhone 7 via a 2.5mm to 3.5mm into a lightning converter (required on the newer iPhones).  I am forced to mute at the cellphone as the mute on the SS2 does nothing.    S# 0H1817415178

 

I would be most interested in learning about a solution.  Thanks for your help and have a wonderful day.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The unit in question was sold via WESTCON-CANADA 04/12/2017 so please work with them.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.
