We tested our SS2 with our cellphones and all went well.

When we tried to connect the same way but with different participants for our actual call, it didn't work.

We connected with the first number, but the second number would not connect.

The second number was toll-free, does this make a difference?

We are perplexed.

Hello HeatherLM,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The phone is completely unaware what number you are calling as this is an analog phone which simply sends DMTF tones down the line to dial.

Maybe the PABX or the provider of the number is not allowing these to be conference together. You need to work with whoever looks after the line that you are using.

Hi Steffen,

"You need to work with whoever looks after the line that you are using."

To clarify, you are suggesting that perhaps our line will not allow a connection to a toll-free number?

Or are you suggesting that the toll-free number will not accept an incoming conference call?

Thanks!

Hello HeatherLM,

Yes you will need to work with whoever looks after your PABX or your Land Line to discuss this issue as the phone is unable to differentiate between such calls.
