PolyCom SoundPoint Pro

I have now owned two of the devices, SoundPoint Pro.  Never any issues except...after a period of time, the hand set appears to get very sensitive to movement and will disconnect calls.  So bad now that I have to use the speak phone function.  Odd that the same issue has applied to both units; likely purchase a few years apart.  No other phone problems with this unit.

 

I am hesitant to purchase another one, because it appears to be a design issue?  I have replace the handset and the cord with no change in performance.

 

Any ideas???
