Hi All.

Something funny is going on, and I suspect the customer network has an issue, but just want to make sure.

The customer has a Polycom Soundstation 1000, connected to an analog port on their IP Office 500 v2, running 9.0.0.829.

When a call is made via 4 digit dialling over their SCN, the call stays up for 11 minutes at a time, and then disconnects.  This always happens every time at close enough to 11 minutes for it to be reproducible.

If, however, they call over the PSTN, then the call stays up for as long as required.

I have watched the call, looking for something "strange" and the only issue I see, and it happens whether they dial by 4 digit or by SCN, is that random "digits" show up.  I have verified that no one is touching the keypad (you never know).

Has anyone encountered this?

And if so, what solution was found?

Regards

Michael

Hi Steffen.

Thank you for the response.

The customer tech is currently busy... but he will supply me with the names and model numbers of the polycom units that are having this issue.

When I have them I will supply them (smile)

Hi Steffen.

The units in use at the customer location are:

Soundstation 2 (part#2201-16200-601), and VTX1000 (part# 2201-07142-001).

I am still waiting on two other units at remote locations.

Regards

Michael
