I am having difficulty configuring my Soundstation2 to work with my Nortel system. According to Polycom I need to configure the phone as a m2616 which I have done. I do not have a 2616 to hook up to it to ensure my configurations are working correctly, however I do have a 3903 hooked up to the interface module and it gets a dial tone. The Soundstation however does not get a dial tone.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

The first question would be if this is a brand new unit or if this has been purchased used from somewhere else?

Hello Steffen,

 

It is a brand new system. I already have configured it as a M2616. It says ready instead of initializing. When I do not have the interface module plugged in I have a separate phone (3903) that gets a dial tone. When the interface module is plugged up however both sets no longer receive a dial tone.
